About Kickoff for the TOEIC® Listening & Reading

Kickoff for the TOEIC® L & R is a flexible preparation tool that can be used as a standalone pre-exam course or as supplemental material for face-to-face TOEIC® classes. Learners can expect to improve their TOEIC® Listening & Reading score by up to 100 points by studying 1.5 – 3 hours per week.

The course was developed by Mr. Koji Hayakawa, a leading expert in TOEIC® assessment and preparation, and is designed in an easy-to-follow format to help learners maximize their score gains.

The main TOEIC® L & R sections are presented from easier to more challenging, allowing learners to build up steadily. Each lesson begins with a Test Skills Focus introducing the target skill, followed by language presentation and practice with trial tasks. Lessons end with a short quiz to check understanding and progress.

Kickoff for the TOEIC® L & R includes 16 highly practical lecture videos by Mr. Hayakawa, fully explaining the test structure and providing strategies and tips for each section to boost test-taking confidence. Each video is approximately two minutes long and serves as a handy study aid.
