About the TOEFL ITP® Practice Test Pack

The TOEFL ITP® Practice Tests can be used flexibly: either as a standalone preparation tool for the TOEFL ITP® exam or as supplementary homework for in-person preparation courses. The tests are designed to assess a learner’s ability to use English in academic contexts.

There are six complete practice tests in total—three at Level 2 and three at Level 1—each mirroring the structure of the corresponding TOEFL ITP® level. They can be taken at any stage of preparation: early on to build strategies and identify weaknesses, or closer to test day to boost confidence and refine performance.

Reliable preparation

The pack is written by experienced TOEFL instructors and strictly follows the official TOEFL ITP® formats for both levels. At each level, learners get a brief overview of the test structure and then work through the main skill areas: Listening Comprehension, Structure & Written Expression, and Reading (Reading & Vocabulary for Level 2).

Topics reflect situations commonly found on the test, including academic settings, student life, and general social themes. All audio is professionally recorded by voice actors with standard North American accents.

While the practice tests are untimed, learners are encouraged to follow the real test durations—about 70 minutes for Level 2 and approximately 2 hours for Level 1.

At the end of each practice test, learners receive section scores as well as an overall percentage—useful for learners and teachers to pinpoint areas for further improvement.
